Audio Invasion

One of the biggest concert events in Hawaii of this year is none other than Audio Invasion. But before going into the details of the event, there are some news that was announced prior to the event. According to Bamp Project, Foster The People will be postponing their show this Wednesday. However, they will make it up to the fans of Hawaii by having their own live concert on March 18th. Despite the small setback, it was nice that the band was willing to play for us in the future (in the not too distant future to be exact).

Anyways, back to the event...

Although, Foster The People has postponed their act, three amazing acts Best Coast, Mariachi El Bronx and Cage The Elephant are still set to play this Wednesday night at the Aloha Tower Waterfront at 7pm. This is one of the biggest concert events of this year and is certainly not to be missed. For those that want to know of what's expected that night as well as though that would like to know more about the bands, here is a little preview.

The former child star (see the film, The Wizard), Bethany Cosentino began playing music and formed the band back in 2009. Bethany and her longtime friend, Bobb Bruno play a blend of lo-fi, garage, surf rock with a dash of influence from 60's pop.

Playing a mix of punk, blues and alternative rock, Cage The Elephant is one of the most highly acclaimed rock band of this generation. Their latest album, Thank You Happy Birthday is one of the best rock albums of 2011.

Known respectively as The Bronx, they began their career as one of the elite hardcore punk bands. Later, they have decided to explore their Mexican roots and began playing mariachi music under their alter ego, Mariachi El Bronx.

Tickets are still available via Bamp Project. For more information, please click here.
