Interview With Teesa

In January 2011, I had the privilege to review the debut EP from up-and-coming pop star Teesa. Her
electro-sonic melodies combined with catchy lyrics showcased the pop star's ability to create amazing pop songs. The album have garnered positive praise and was even selected as one of the best albums in last year's Cream of the Crop list.

Goblin

My first exposure to Tyler, The Creator came about when I was looking through the pages of SPIN magazine. In the issue, it features the underground rapper in a gray hoodie and high crew socks jumping toward the crowd during an Odd Future concert. Intriqued by his aerodynamics and his crowd surfing antics, I decided to look further into the rapper. It turns out that Tyler, also known by his other alias Wolf Haley, is the ringleader behind the hip hop collective, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All or simply Odd Future.

The Human Element

As much as I love music, I'm not an avid watcher of the Grammy's. I would rather watch the highlights of the show the day after. Other than Adele having an extremely stellar performance, one of the major points of the night was Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl's acceptance speech when their single, "Walk" off their album Wasted Light won for Best Rock Performance. The acceptance speech can be read below. You can also watch it here.

Greatest Love of All

Whitney Houston is truly one of a kind. The moment she steps on stage, she can instantly captivate the hearts of everyone in her audience. Her voice is the kind of voice that is unequaled in every magnitude. It is memorable as it is timeless. Along with singing, she was also known for dabbling in acting. She was starred in a variety of films including The Preacher's Wife and Waiting To Exhale. However, her most memorable role will always Rachel Marron in her debut film, The Bodyguard. She continued to make music throughout her career and has made some of the most unforgettable songs of our generation including "I Will Always Love You", "Greatest Love of All", "Saving All My Love For You" and so many more. And despite her troubled marriage with Bobby Brown and her affliction with drugs later in her life, her fans continue to support her and praise her.

Audio Invasion

One of the biggest concert events in Hawaii of this year is none other than Audio Invasion. But before going into the details of the event, there are some news that was announced prior to the event. According to Bamp Project, Foster The People will be postponing their show this Wednesday. However, they will make it up to the fans of Hawaii by having their own live concert on March 18th. Despite the small setback, it was nice that the band was willing to play for us in the future (in the not too distant future to be exact).

Anyways, back to the event...
