Words cannot describe the pain and loss that many people (including myself) felt over the loss of singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse. She was an influential force that sparked the reemergence of soul music and paved way for many female artists like herself to thrive in the music scene. Despite her off stage antics and behavior, she should remembered for the influence that she has brought onto music. It is difficult to admit that she is not longer with us, but her memory will live through the music she has created. Our hearts and condolences go out to her family, friends and all of our beloved fans. She will be missed.
